Project Description
Long-term Costs & Injury
When an individual suffers from illness or injury that has been attributed to the acts of others AND money is paid to Settle Claims to an injured party, an allocation of money to an MSA trust is necessary by law. The total amount of anticipated funds paid by Medicare to the life expectancy of an injured person must be reasonable based on both the total anticipated expense to be incurred by Medicare but also understanding the ‘common benefit’ that Medicare enjoys from the work of Plaintiff’s attorneys.
A reliable assessment of total anticipated cost is the first and most important test for a reliable MSA Trust. Academic Physician Life Care Planning have experts in the field of MSA analysis to protect Plaintiff attorneys from future claims by the government.
